Temple Sholom
122 Kent Road, New Milford, CT
We are welcoming and inclusive of all who seek a place to call their Jewish “home” no matter what their background or connection to Judaism might be.
Members of interfaith families and members of the LGBT Community have a welcome home in Temple Sholom.

At Temple Sholom, we enjoy gathering every Friday at 6:30 PM for services and every Saturday at 9:30 AM for Torah study. We usually pray with Mishkan T’filah, but we often create services of our own for special occasions. Our services are warm, inviting, inclusive, enthusiastic, festive and fun.
Our services help us to connect as a community through prayer, words of Torah, and of course - music. Familiar melodies ground us in the past and new melodies challenge us to interact with our sacred texts in new and unforeseen ways. Along with the help of our dedicated volunteer musicians, especially our High Holy Day Choir Director, Dr. Barbara Kessler, our voices join as one, lifting our prayers to new heights.
Members of interfaith families and members of the LGBTQ Community have a welcome home in Temple Sholom. Everyone describes our unpretentious congregation as familial and haimish. We take pride in our longstanding Jewish presence in New Milford. Feel free to attend any of our services any time.
