Activities for 2007/2008

October Coat Collection.  We will collect coats for distribution by New Milford Social Services.  Bring coats to the Social Action collection bin by the main entrance to the synagogue.

November Walk for Homeless.  In past years we have participated in a community walk for the Homeless.  Stay tuned to see what we will do this year.

A film and discussion about the Iraq War.  Saturday, November 10, from 7:30 – 9:30. 

December give-a-gift program.  We will collect gifts for distribution by New Milford Social Services.  Get gift “tags” from the board at the Temple and bring your gifts by the indicated date.

January Tu’Bshevat Seder (January 21, 2008).  Come celebrate the “New Year for the Trees” with a seder and discussions of environmental issues.

March donation for Dorot.  We will collect funds to support Dorot, an organization that provides services for elderly Jews in New York City.

April Walk for Food.  We will participate in a community walk to collect food for the New Milford food pantry.
