Photo-Temple Sholom 8639We are so privileged to live in Litchfield County.  The pristine environment and small town flavor has so much to offer all the families in our community.  The many little towns and villages in the area result in Jewish families being spread out over several miles.  For almost 50 years Temple Sholom has always been able to bring our Jewish Community together in the centrally located town in New Milford, CT.

Temple Sholom has always been a Bet Knesset or a House of Meeting where we come together and celebrate both joyous and solemn occasions.  Temple Sholom is a Bet Midrash or a House of Study where adults will gather to study Torah, Talmud and discuss Jewish writings.  Temple Sholom also prides itself on a religious school program called Jewish Journeys which meets on Sundays and Hebrew Education which meets on Tuesdays after school.  Temple Sholom is a Bet T’filah or a House of Prayer.  The Shabbat services Friday evening and Saturday mornings meet weekly.  Please call the synagogue to inquire about the times and schedule.

Please call, write or email the temple and someone will be happy to assist you with any questions you have.
